On the other hand, Chris Eubank Jr is looking to redeem himself after his four-round loss to David Haye in January. The rematch takes place on February 14, 2019, at the O2 Arena in London, and will be televised by ESPN+ and Sky Sports Box Office.

After suffering a loss to “Beefy,” Eubank’s six-fight winning streak ended. He is now training under Brian McIntyre. He replaces Roy Jones Jr.

As the trainer of Terence Crawford, McIntyre helped the American boxer defeat Errol Spence Jr. for the undisputed title.

According to Eubank, working with McIntyre and Crawford has been beneficial. He noted that the former is regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world.

Since Smith stopped David Haye in the fourth round to become a former super welterweight titleholder, he has won four in a row. If he loses, this fight could become a trilogy bout. Nonetheless, he aims to improve to 2-0 and become a prominent middleweight contender.
