The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to pay-per-views with UFC 290, which takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena inside Las Vegas. It features two championship fights.
One of the main events features a title fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Brandon Moreno. Moreno has been on a bit of a hot streak, having won the flyweight title three years in a row.
Volkanovski will be looking to continue his reign as the champion while Moreno will be trying to establish some consistency in his division.
In the main event, Volkanovski will be facing off against Yair Rodriguez. Rodriguez is coming off of a victory over Josh Emmett, which earned him an interim title shot.
Moreno is trying to make a name for himself in his rivalry with Alexandre Pantoja, who he has faced twice. In both instances, Pantoja was able to get the win. Their fight on The Ultimate Fighter was an exhibition, and it added to the intrigue of their rematch.
