Cejudo will be looking to become the first three-division champion in mixed martial arts when he takes on Aljamaein Sterling at UFC on May 6.

The main event of the card will feature Cejudo taking on Sterling, who is the reigning bantamweight champion.

Sterling earned his second title defense after defeating Petr Yan in a rematch. Their rivalry started after the former champion, who is known as “Funk Master,” was initially declared the winner over the Russian.

In his previous match against Yan, Sterling won via split decision. Then, he secured a knockout victory over TJ Dillashaw in October 2022.

The event also features a bantamweight title fight between Gilbert Burns and Belal Muhammad. In the co-main event, a strawweight bout between Jessica Andrade and Xiaonan will take place.
