The year’s most eagerly awaited occasion has finally arrived. On Saturday night in Glendale, Arizona, social media star Jake Paul will compete in a single bout, which will be his most difficult test to yet. In the main event of a Showtime pay-per-view, Paul is scheduled to face MMA great Anderson Silva.

Paul has attempted to set up a fight and a date with three potential opponents so far this year.

Tommy Fury, the half-brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, was the first. When Fury was unable to obtain a visa and enter the United States, that bout was called off.

After that, he made an attempt to arrange a match with Hasim Rahman Jr., the son of another former boxer named Hasim Rahman Sr. But Rahman Jr., a heavyweight, was unable to comply with Paul’s weight restrictions, and the bout was abandoned.
